The touch screen unit displays the real-time data of each test and the PC software-based data acquisition control provides the real-time data and graphical view for the sample. In addition, the machine can either work in fully automatic mode or manual mode to allow operators to adjust the load rate and period manually.

Moreover, users are able to enter new party names, and their addresses and save test-specific information. With the option of browsing the directory of stored data, operators can load previously stored party names and addresses. Also, various input information about the test sample can be fed by the operators. The machine allows users to calculate the area, bulk density, volume, dry density, moisture content, etc. of the specimen
